4.2 million vehicle owners are getting a Green Slip refund
Under the NSW Government's new compulsory third-party insurance plan, if you were the registered owner of a private vehicle as at midnight 30 November 2017, you may be able to claim a CTP Green Slip refund for insurance policies bought or renewed before 1 December 2017.
By now, you may have received an email from the NSW Government like the one below with the amount of refund and steps to claim.
CTP refunds are currently available online 5.00pm to 8.00am Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday until September 30.
The reformed CTP Scheme will reduce the average price of a Green Slip by more than $100, so you will notice a significant difference in your next policy.
